Theoretical/Practical Course Program

Morning:

• the body’s perception of and neuroendocrine response to perceived stimuli (stressors) and the difference between positive and negative stressors
• use of Braña glass rods to send appropriate rebalancing signals.
• Assessment of stress-related factors to ensure treatment is tailored to the individual’s specific needs.
• General relaxation and release of everyday tension, focusing on specific muscle groups to promote relaxation of the motor muscles.
• Synergy between manual techniques, such as the use of small sticks, and manual muscle and joint massage.
• Targeted application of Chemeia phytocomplexes.

Afternoon:

• Individual practice of the Braña programmes, with the option of receiving a massage to assess the immediate and long-term effects (24–48 hours).
• Each student receives individual guidance on the manual techniques they need to learn, both in the use of glass rods (stretching phase and programmes) and in the manual aspects of muscle and joint massage.
• The following day: the previous day’s work is reviewed, with ample time devoted to practical exercises and discussion of the treatments.

• Before the course ends, there will be a short individual test to ensure that each student is fully self-reliant.

Recommended text: Anatomy and Physiology ed. Ambrosiana – authors Thibodeau and Patton or similar.

Bring no. 2 pairs of white cotton gloves for practice, a notebook and pen, an eyeliner or lip pencil; comfortable clothing is required.

Before the end of the two-day course, an individual assessment using the Braña Method will be conducted to evaluate each student’s conceptual understanding of the course material, followed by a discussion between the tutors and students.

Materials included in the course fee: Two Braña glass rods will be collected from the studio, and the course materials will be sent digitally by 30 September.

The glass rods, cotton gloves and any Chémeìa products are not included in the course fee.
